Flight Log 01.25.08

Flew the Tyco SKYFORCE fighter today...and busted a prop!?! I thought these things were indestructible? I thought it was too lite to get hurt from a crash, but apparently falling 30+ feet, after hitting a tree branch, and then landing on street pavement can break a prop :)

Dang it! I bet Tyco doesn't even sell replacement parts...I'm going to start my search, but if you know where I can get some props...add a comment here, please.

I love this system. These are great planes and have provided lots of good fun and flights. I hope I can get it going again...

Flight Log 01.17.08

Wow! I flew something again...seems like forever. Today I flew my Tyco SKYFORCE bi-plane -- twice. Once outside at lunch...and once after work in our big 3 story atrium area. The only problem with the atrium area was that as the plane lost altitude, it got lower and lower (I started from my floor, #3) and so when it landed I had to walk down 3 flights of stairs to retrieve it -- whew!

Tyco SKYFORCE RC Airplanes

I finally added my review of the Tyco SKYFORCE planes to my JoeFlyer web site.

These are fun little foam planes that can fly indoors or outdoors and can also be flown as RC or Free-Flight. I love these things :)
