Another Super Cub Day!

I got up at 6:30 this morning...really tough for me :)...And, I made it to the Duck Pond (See my favorite places to fly links on the right) by 7:03.

There was a slight breeze and in the mid 50's to low 60's F. I was in the last few minutes of my LIPO when my buddy David drove up. He brought his Blade 400 3D...which was pretty cool, I haven't seen one of them fly yet except for in videos online.

I have no pictures or video...but it was a fun hour.

I finally fly something this year

Saturday July 4th...me and a couple of my boys took the HobbyZone Super Cub to our local elementary school (see the "Elementary School Field 1" link in the right Nav area) and flew it with my Blade CP's LIPO...my standard battery for this plane now, gives it great kick.

I've had this Super Cub since September of 2007...almost two years now! I've busted props, broke the whole tail section off, burned out probably three receivers :) And...this has been the BEST plane ever so far. It's just pure fun.

Happy New Year

OK, 2008 has gone and 2009 is here...I think I flew something RC every month last year, Woo Hoo! What about you?

So far 2009 has been slow for me...with RC stuff -- It's been raining and cold. But, I did fly my simulator today -- and that was fun. I use FMS...cause it's free and I'm cheap :)

Hope you have a great year of flying!
