I'm still here, just on holiday...

Haven't had the time or the weather for flying since my last entry. It has been cold, windy, and wet for a couple weeks now. Plus, with the Christmas Holiday, etc...I've been busy with family things.

Also, this Christmas brought no new flying RC toys my way...so, I've got nothing really new to report anyway. I did, however, finish the construction of a non-flying wooden toy Curtis airplane of one of my kids. The instruction weren't friendly for any age or skill level -- basically a take these wooden pieces, look at the picture on the box, and put her together kind of deal. I had to improvise and make some parts out of the spare balsa cutout sheets. I'll post a pic later.

Got a flight in...whew! It's been cold, wet, and windy...but, I got a break today, at lunch, and had one of my "Lunch Fly's". Took some video too...but, been to busy to upload it.

Another nice, but colllld day in Oregon. Did my usual lunch fly with my Super Cub. Hopefully I'll have something new to fly in a couple weeks :D

I want this, http://www.parkflyers.com/html/gee_bee_3d.html, if anyone's taking notes...But, I've read some negative feedback about the ParkFlyer's company...So, I'm torn???

Had a real bad morning at work...nothing was going right at all. So, I charged up the cub's battery and snuck out around 10'ish for a flight. The rest of my day was still crap, but those 10 or so minutes were awesome.
